What We Believe as Members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod

A Sunday Bible Study
Overview
The Lutheran Church is part of the Christian Church and takes its name from Martin Luther, the 16th century reformer who stressed that the Bible is the only source of the teachings of God, and that only through faith in Jesus Christ can one be saved.
Concordia Lutheran Church is affiliated with The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, founded in 1847 and is based on God's Word (the Bible), the Sacraments and world mission work. Through the Synod, we send missionaries around the world, train church workers and publish Christian literature and materials.
